Tevis John Moseman, 38, passed away of natural causes at his home on September 19, 2015. He is now at his home with our Lord.
Tevis was born on February 3, 1977, to John Lloyd and Anita Denice Moseman in Delta, Colorado. They moved to Grand Junction in 1983. Tevis was a 1995 graduate of Central High School. He attended University of Northern Colorado, Greely, as an honor student majoring in biology. He studied four years as a pre-seminary student at Concordia University, Ann Arbor, Michigan and received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University.
Tevis had been a Supervisor for Choice Hotels and was the manager of Storsmart Storage, LLC.
Because Tevis was always in awe of everything that God put in this world, he was always inquisitive and loved to study everything. He was intellectual and studied Latin, Greek, Hebrew and German. He was interested in music and nature. He liked Fantasy Football, hunting and fishing, reading, playing pool, training his dogs, watching sports snf keeping statistics. His teams were the University of Michigan, the Denver Broncos and the Atlanta Braves. He loved animals and they loved him. Most of all he loved spending time and visiting with his family and his friends.
Tevis is survived by his father and mother, John and Anita Moseman of Grand Junction; his brother, John Moseman of Clifton; his sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Grant Shahan of Grand Junction; his nephews, Parker and Preston Shahan of Grand Junction; his aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and his beloved dog, Ellis.
Anyone who met Tevis was touched by his smile, the sparkle in his eye, and his kind and gentle heart. His presence on this earth will be greatly missed and he will be forever loved.
Services will be held Saturday, September 26th, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church and School of Messiah, 840 N. 11th Street, Grand Junction.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Messiah Lutheran School, 840 N. 11th Street, Grand Junction, where Tevis, his brother, his sister and now his nephews attend school.
