Vickie Lynne McCune

Vickie Lynne McCune, maiden name Wear, was born on April 26th, 1964. She left this world on April 4th, 2024 at the young age of 59. She was born to Robert and Elizabeth Wear in Wheatridge, Colorado. She was a proud resident of Grand Junction, Colorado. Vickie is survived by her husband Mitch (Michael) McCune, whom she married August 2nd, 2008. She was previously married to Jesse Osburn. From this union came her children Crystal Franklin, Stephanie Vann, and Shannon Osburn, all of which survive her. She is survived by her 10 grandchildren, brother, Scott Wear, mother, Elizabeth Garrett, and sister, Rebecca Marker. Her father, Bob Wear, grandparents, Chuck and Ida Wear, and Margaret Ettles, brothers, Steven and Michael Wear all preceded her in death. She will be missed my many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Vickie loved being outdoors. During the summer she would be found camping in the mountains, riding her side by side, or working in the yard. She took great pride in her daughters and grandchildren. She was honest and communicative, there was no thought left unsaid. Her deepest desire was to travel America in her camper. One of her favorite memories was going to Yellowstone National Park after her wedding ceremony with Mitch. She will be deeply missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate with us on her 60th birthday, April 26th, 2024. The ceremony will begin around 10am at Callahan Edfast Mortuary 2515 Patterson Rd. Grand Junction, CO 81505. Following the ceremony, a celebration with food and memories will be shared at her home.
