

Bill married the love of his life, Gladys Burns, affectionately called Gigi, on July 12, 1956, in Pasadena, California. Together, Bill and Gigi shared 66 wonderful years of marriage, filled with love and companionship. They were blessed with two children, Jeff Gast and Lori Gast, who brought immense joy to their lives.
An avid golfer, Bill spent countless hours enjoying his favorite pastime. Professionally, Bill began his career working for Pantry Markets in Pasadena, California. He then moved on to Albertsons, where he spent 20 years and concluded his tenure as a corporate buyer for the Rocky Mountain Division. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to found West Peak Marketing, and he concluded his career with Stanford Trading in Dallas Texas.
Bill and Gigi both love the Lord and attended Grace Bible Church in Parachute, Colorado, where they found fellowship and community with fellow believers.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Murrell and Edna Gast, his sister Marion Chamberlain, and his brother Murrell Gast. He is survived by his cherished wife Gigi, his son Jeff (Michelle) Gast, his daughter Lori Gast; his sisters Shirley Kirkendall and Evelyn Schaffer; his seven grandchildren Joshua (Allegra) Gast, Jordan (Karlina) Gast, Ryan (Jackie) Gast, Cheyne (Amy) Gast, Justin Gavin, Matthew (Jessica) Gast, Maxwell (Heaven) Blevins; and his thirteen great-grandchildren.
Bill's funeral service will be held at Grace Bible Church in Parachute, Colorado, on Sunday, March 23rd at 2 p.m. Family and friends are invited to celebrate the life of a remarkable man who touched many hearts and left a lasting legacy.
Bill will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the memories of those who loved him.
