He was born April 26, 1933 in Centralia, Illinois. Mr. Hayes served in the United States Marine Corps and during his working career he was a machinist in the aviation industry.
He was preceded in death by his wife Janice Edith Hayes.
Survivors include his daughters Betty Jo MacDonald of Whitewater, Jean Hayes of Olathe, Colorado; a son Steven Hayes of Simi, California.
