Born on August 24, 1975, in Floydada, Texas, to Michael and Bonnie Lightfoot, Brian spent his early years in Hinton, Oklahoma, and Fruita, Colorado. He worked for 27 years in the oil and gas industry in Colorado, where he owned his own company and enjoyed great success. In his youth, Brian loved wrestling and riding motorcycles, but as an adult, his passions shifted to fishing, golfing, bowling, and most importantly, spending time with family. Family and faith were the cornerstones of his life.
Brian’s belief in God was unwavering, and he faced life’s challenges with a positive attitude, inner strength, and immense patience. He preferred peace and solitude, often finding solace in small gatherings or quiet time alone. Despite any hardship, he was never one to burden others, always handling pain and adversity with grace.
He was a devoted son, brother, and father, leaving a lasting legacy of love and faith in his family.
Brian is survived by his parents, Michael and Bonnie Lightfoot; his brother, Brandon (Nakeda) Lightfoot; his children, Dalany (Justin) Roberts and son Shep, Michael Aldon Lightfoot, and Morgun Lightfoot and her daughter Aliyah (Jonathan Jones) and son Eli; his niece, Madeline Lightfoot (Diego Alejandre); and his step-niece and nephews, Charles Green (Sammi Moyano), Daniel Duke (Aspen Waltz), and their children Grace McManis, Faith McManis, Ivy Duke, Olive Duke, and Kathleen Duke (Dominic Tayfoya) and their daughter Isla Seaver.
