William Joe Pedersen

Bill was born on March 25th, 1956, in Oak Creek, Colorado, to Raymond Pedersen and Elizabeth Harpham. He grew up on the family ranch in Oak Creek and graduated from Soroco High School.

In 1988 he moved to the Grand Valley. He married Joyce Pedersen on August 27th, 1992. He recently retired from Fruita Co-op where he was a propane service technician.

Bill's passion in life was to be outdoors camping with his family and 4 wheeling, 4 wheeling, 4 wheeling. He loved a good cheese burger and fries and old country music. He was a great neighbor - always willing to help.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of 29 years, Joyce Pedersen of Fruita. His daughters Jessica (Albert) Pachl of Rapid City, SD. Kristi Pedersen of Bozeman, MT. Step daughter Marcy Moore of Brighton, CO and step son Michael McClure of Takoma Park, MD. Sister Nancy Mitisek (Chuck) of Grand Junction. Brothers Tom (Jean) Pedersen of Stevensville MT and John (Janet) Pedersen of Loma, CO. Two granddaughters, Brooke and Eve Pachl and 2 step grandsons, Cole and Cody Charlesworth along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elizabeth Pedersen (Harpham).

A private family service will be held at a later date.
