Alice Stephan was born in 1933 and grew up on a farm near Ft Morgan Colorado with her two brothers. In January of 1956 married Francis Stephan and moved to Grand Prairie Texas where they lived their entire life. They raised 10 children and in their later years became a foster parent and cared for over 100 babies awaiting adoption. One of which, Michael James Stephan they adopted expanding their family to 11 children.
Throughout her lifetime, she had a love for crocheting, quilting, and needlepoint. She loved gardening and making puzzles.
She spent her golden years enjoying her 22 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She devoted her life to God’s children and she cherished her lifelong friendships to her final day.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers Donald and Jack Westhoff. She is survived by nine sons and two daughters; Richard of Dallas, Robert and Bernard of Houston, Samuel and Michael of Grand Prairie, Bradley of San Antonio, Teresa Marsh of Allen, Curtis and Andrew of Frisco, Julie Allen of Euless and Mikey of Grand Prairie.
