Alicia Galvan-Torres

November 24, 1935 – May 18, 2025

Alicia Torres, a beloved mother, grandmother, and devoted servant of God, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 18, 2025, at the age of 89.

Born on November 24, 1935, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, Alicia lived a life marked by unwavering faith, deep love for her family, and a spirit of generosity. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Mario Torres, and her two cherished children, Alicia Orona and Noah Torres.

She is survived by her children Mario Torres Jr., Maria Victoria Gonzales, Samuel Torres, and Ruth Olguin; as well as by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, who were all blessed by her love and example.

Alicia also leaves behind many extended family members across Mexico and the United States.

Alicia devoted her life to raising her children and grandchildren, always guiding them with strength, wisdom, and prayer. A woman of great faith and a dedicated prayer warrior, she was a steadfast supporter of her local church and gave generously to charitable causes close to her heart.

Her legacy of love, strength, and spiritual devotion will live on in the lives of those she touched. She will be remembered as a pillar of faith, a source of comfort, and a light to her family and community.
