Cherri Janell Burton, 63 of Grand Prairie Texas, went to be with her Lord on July 29, 2024. She was born in Hobbs, New Mexico on March 11 1961 to Jerry and Lois Janell Prewett. Cherri was a 1979 graduate of South Grand Prairie High School and received a medical assistant certificate in 2006. Cherri was employed by Square D from 1992-2005 wiring circuit breakers/harnesses. She also worked as a phlebotomist with Carter Blood Care from 2007- present. She was a member of Indian Hills Baptist Church. Cherri is survived by her two sons Timothy Daniel Burton (Rasha Ann), and Jeremy Robert Burton. Two grandchildren, Timmy Avery Burton and Aria Sha Burton. Also survived by her mother, Lois Janell and sister Brenda Lee, niece Jessica along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Jerry Levi and niece Johanna Danielle
