Don Sterling Box went to be with the Lord on May 23, 2021 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was the widower of Charlene Box. They shared 61 years of marriage together.
Born in Garrison, Texas he was the son of Beatrice and Raleigh Lee Box. After 4 years in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict he made Grand Prairie, Texas his home where he found his life’s calling as a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and self-made landscaping business owner.
He was preceded in death by his wife Charlene Box, children Larry Don Box, and Felicia Dell Wallace. Survived by his daughter Rejohna Ann Beckham, husband Don, grandchildren Dena De Leon, Krystal Scott, husband Fred, Brandon Wallace, wife Kerry, Justin Wallace, wife Jill, and Amanda Elam, husband Brandon. Great Grandchildren Kody, Rani, Kalie, Brodix, KylieJo, Justin, Jesse, Dylan, Jhett, Gracie, and Jack. An incredibly loving Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00a.m. Friday, May 28th at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home; 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Burial will follow at Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie, Texas. The viewing will be held Thursday, May 27th from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home.
