Mr. Ingram grew up in Oklahoma. He enlisted in the Army/Air Force and fought during World War II. He was active in the Air Offensive against Japan in the Western Pacific, New Guinea, and Southern Philippines. He received a Good Conduct Medal, Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Bronze Star.
He was a farmer, but also became a school bus driver, a school janitor, moving truck driver and a concrete hauler, as well. Mr. Ingram had an amazing sense of humor and loved to sing. He believed in laughter and told jokes and stories. He was a kind man and cared about people. He was a member of the Pentecostal Church and an outstanding Christian. He loved to garden and had a beautiful yard. He loved his family, especially children. His last smile was at his Great-Great-grandson and Great-Great-granddaughter. His memory was great and he shared all his family genealogy.
Mr. Ingram had 10 kids, 26 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 53 great-great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
