Francisco O Mendoza

Francisco O. Mendoza passed away November 28, 2014. He was born October 6, 1925 in Manila Philippines to Teofilo and Urbana Mendoza. Francisco lived most of his life in the Phillippines, where he graduated high school and worked as a Trailer Driver for Esso Gasoline Company in Pandacan Manila Philippines. While at work he met Aurea Lopez. They were married January 6, 1948. Francisco loved Aurea and made sure to tell her every chance he had.

He was a kind hearted, loving man who had a strong Catholic faith. Francisco was very giving and even though he didn’t have a lot of his own he would always share what he had with his family. He found value in knowledge and supported his children and grandchildren in their studies. He enjoyed making people laugh and eating sweets. Francisco liked to spend his free time fishing and watching boxing. His favorite boxer is Manny Pacquiao. When he wasn’t watching boxing he was teaching the boys of the family and neighborhood how to box. Francisco is preceded in death by his parents Teofilo and Urbana Mendoza; siblings Tianong Mendoza, Placida Montano, Maria Luisa Mendoza, Adong Mendoza and Romea Mendoza. He is survived by his wife Aurea Mendoza, children Julie Pruna and her husband Jaime, Joseph Mendoza and his wife Jovita; grandchildren John Paul Pruna, Jerame Mendoza, Jason Mendoza, Jarmine Mendoza, Joshua Mendoza and cousin Josefa Mendoza.
