Gabo was so adamant that the baby was going to be a girl. (Spoiler alert... it was a boy)

I have known Gabriel for 14 years and since we met he has always treated me like I was his brother. We played video games together, watched movies together... we argued about videogames and movies together, just like brothers. He was always there for us when we had a tough week, with tacos and laughs. When we needed help moving he would borrow his dad's truck to help us. That's the kind of person Gabo was, always finding a way to provide support to his friends and family. Gabo, this life will not be the same without  your insight, wisdom and quick witticism. I am going to miss you, brother. We are lucky to have had you in our lives.

Oh Gabriel, 
I have been thinking of words that could possibly describe one of the rarest, kindest, funniest, smart-aleck people that I have ever met. You kind hearted, LOUD, bull in a China shop, nurturer of a man that helped heal 100’s of strangers through your passion and calling, massage therapy. A man who cultivated and lead an online community through countless hours of game play and provided a “place” to be ourselves and not have to hold back, to many of us, a place never to feel alone, to virtually meet some good people and have fun. Thank you for always, ALWAYS being there for me. For being my safety net when I needed one and especially during the times I didn’t know I needed one. Thank you for being a loving and caring role model to my boys and having the softest squishy spot for them. You showed up for us countless times, you made us laugh, made us frustrated but most of all, proud of you. You grew to be a part of my family very quickly and I don’t know what I am going to do without you. You will always live in our memories and have a special place in our hearts. No one will ever fill the void of your absence, there is never going to be another you. I am beyond fortunate and blessed to have you part of our lives for the short 14 years I knew you. I know it was fate that brought you into my family and I thank God for you. I love you and I miss you dearly. 

To Gabriel's parent's and family; Thank you for raising one of the best men I know. Gabriel had nothing but the BEST things to say about his whole family. He loved and adored all of you. My heart, love and prayers go out to you for your loss. Please know that my husband and I are just a phone call away.

Gabe, we started out in this massage field together and boy were you my rock. Great debates and conversations held us together for the long days and evenings at “The Envy” it was special and I will remember the great times we had at our round table discussions.  You will be missed Fly high my friend, until we meet again. Love you Buddy.

Gabriel LOVED Texas de Brazil. His exact words before we went..."I can't wait until I have meats coming from all sides".  Lol

Gabriel was like an uncle to me. He was very kindhearted and had crazy ideas or theories about a lot of stuff (especially space) lol. Gabriel always gave me great advice and was always there for me. If I ever needed to talk about fights or if I needed advice on how to be a better person he would always be one call away. He will forever be in my heart and will never be forgotten. I love you Gabriel may you Rest In Peace.

Where do I start?
I will truly miss you.
Being your best friend was one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me. We were inseparable! We were always together and most likely acting a fool somewhere. We must have had a thousand sleepovers when we were younger. We always had the time of our lives and I couldn’t have asked for a better friend, or brother, since that’s what we considered ourselves. I always respected the love you had for your family and how much you adored them. We probably argued about as often as we had sleepovers. But I will admit that you were always right and there was nothing you didn’t know.

I also have you to thank for where I am today. I really don’t know where I would be if it weren’t for you. Thank you for introducing me to Amanda. Were it not for you knowing the both of us, my family would not exist as it does today, and I truly, truly, am so thankful for that. I was blessed to have you as a best friend and best man at my wedding. 

You were always there when I needed you and I know that you would do anything for me, as I would for you. I have to admit I am crying now as I’m typing this and I just can’t stop the tears. It hurts knowing you are gone and I wish I would have had more time with you.

I can’t thank you enough for the life you gave me and the friendship we shared. I will always miss you, and I will always love you, and I can’t wait until we meet again.

Im so sorry and it hurts my heart to be writing this.

Gabriel was quite the man. He was a wise ass, know it all with a giant heart. We had a tendency to butt heads, but as framily, we were there when we needed each other. That could mean not talking for months, but reconnecting when times were tough. Everyone who knew him I’m sure got an ear full of the research and articles that backed his opinions, because he surely wasn’t shy to speak his mind and you also got to experience the kindness of his big gestures of appreciation. There’s no one else like him. 

My prayers are with him and his family. Know he loved you all sooooo dearly!

Gabriel, 

The last few days just don't feel real. The shock is still very real. Our friendship over the last few years have been rocky and sometimes chaotic. We would butt heads so much and disagreed on a lot of things so much that is was hard to even talk to one another sometimes. 

The last impactful conversation we had was when my dad was going through his cancer treatments. You took the time to call and just talk about everything and nothing at all. Just listening most of the time and then providing much needed comedic relief and positive vibes. That's what you did. Try to think on the positive side of things. Even when we weren't talking to each other anymore, I knew if you ever needed me, I would return that kindness. There's so many words and apologies I want to say  but none of it seems to matter right now. 

All I want  you to know now is how much I appreciated you. Your committment to your friends and family will always stck with me. I pray you are at rest and know one day I will see you again some day.

Im deeply sad as I write this to my brother. I met Gabriel 10 yrs ago while playing a game called Destiny on Playstation. GABRIEL,  has this energy, a strong connection of bringing people together. At first I always thought this  guy was crazy, he forever found me and others in game chat an we would accomplish task together.  Besides games, we always talked about life. For years I saw him more as a brother, someone I can talk to. I had a chance to meet Gabriel in person on  August of 2023. It was like we always knew each other. Man, I will miss you Gabriel. My wife is very hurt, as well, she also had the opportunity to talk to Gabriel in game chat as well. We love you and We will miss you. Forever your bro Doug (Impact_Samurai).

For 30 years he was by my side for everything. We became adults together and those are great memories but by far my favorite to think about is laying in the drive way looking at the stars talking about anything and everything. He liked to point out all the constellations too. For a little while our bedroom windows were right across from each other and when it was too late for us to go outside we would talk through the window for hours. Laughing, arguing, debating usually debating. I know he knew how much I love him but now I wish I would have said it one last time. I love you so much you have made me and a lot of other people better just by being you and being in our lives.

Gabe I will never believe this. I’ll see you on the other side. I’ll find you and we will laugh like idiots at 3 in the morning again. Your family should know you have a legion of adopted brothers and sisters out here and if they need anything they really should just tell us.
