Gladys grew up in Dixon, IL. After graduation she moved to Colorado Springs, CO for a short amount of time before returning to Illinois. She had 3 children and worked for the G.E. Factory. In the mid 1960’s the whole family moved to the country south of Arlington, Texas. She worked as a private secretary for Dallas Fountain and Fixture (currently Watson).
Gladys enjoyed dancing, painting, taking photos and doing crossword puzzles. She would spend hours talking to family and friends or shopping. An out-going woman she was a loving mother and a good wife. She was very private and enjoyed music of all kinds.
She is survived by her husband Glenn McCann; children Larry Landis, Peggy Whatley, Joe Landis; brother Bud Johnson, 3 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
