

Hattie Mae Wright, long-time resident of Cockrell Hill Texas, died at the age of 93 on Tuesday the 26th of May, 2015 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family. She was born on January 12th, 1922 in Kaufman Texas. Hattie worked at Sunset Chiropractic Center of Dallas Texas serving others for many years. She was dedicated to her family, to serving her church Calvary Baptist of Grand Prairie and to her job. Hattie served at Calvary Baptist Church in the children’s ministry teaching the 1st grade class. She loved Jesus and loved to tell the children about him. She also served alongside her husband Ora Odell (Double O) feeding their church family the most amazing homemade chili. Hattie loved the color pink and looked most beautiful in it. Hattie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ora Odell Wright; granddaughter, Valerie Wright and many of her brothers and sisters.
Hattie was survived in death by her Daughter, Linda Sue McCoy and husband William Mike McCoy; grandchildren, Michael Wayne McCoy, Tabrina Michelle Garcia with husband Heath Garcia and Lynn McCoy; Son, Chet Wright and wife Sue Wright and granddaughter, Leslie Wright with Husband Heinrich Downes; Sister, Louise Glasscock and husband Joe Glasscock; great grandchildren, Michael Wayne Jr., Keesha, Brandi, Ashlie and Misty ; great great grandchildren, Jayda, Ashlee, Abigail, Christian, Destiny and Anthony; as well as numerous nieces and nephews
