Herbert Weems Jr., age 62, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday November 8, 2018. Herbert was born August 29, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to Herbert Farris Weems Sr. and Fairy Jean Bedford.
Herbert married the love of his life, Rosa Weems in 1984. Herbert thrived in his career as a project superintendent in Texas. Herbert lived his life to the fullest traveling, listening to music, playing the guitar, and spending time with his granddaughters.
Herbert loved his family more than anything in this world, and he was the happiest around Jessica, Amber, Lindsey, and Penelope. Herbert was the rock of his family and a bright light on this earth.

Herbert Weems is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Farris Weems Sr. and Fairy Jean Bedford.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Rosa Weems; children, Rosy Pozas, Jessica Weems, and Julio Lara; Siblings, Ronnie Lee McCoy, Tammie Weems Coley, and Teresa Weems Argumaniz; Grandchildren, Amber Lara, Lindsey Lara, Penelope Lara, Armando Pozas Jr., Abigail Pozas, and Jose Pozas.
