Jeremy graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 2004. He then attended Concord Technical College and Northlake College, where he received his Associates Degree in Science. He worked for Decca Dental under Dr. Nelson for 3 years doing oral surgery.
Jeremy loved to please others. He spoiled his husband and other family members, a trait he learned from his mother and Nana. They were his biggest fans and his biggest blessings. They taught him to cook and put family first. This worked well when he met Terry through mutual Facebook friends. They fell in love and were married June 2015.
Jeremy was intelligent, sarcastic, a jokester and a true blue Texan. A cowboy at heart he was known for his dry humor, cowboy boots and cowboy hat. If it wasn't cowboy boots he was barefoot. He made friends everywhere and talked to anyone. He was outgoing, laid back, a procrastinator and loving. One of his strongest traits was his photogenic mind and confidence. Mix that with an amazing work ethic, he was unstoppable. Raising in rank in every job he started.
Jeremy is survived by his husband: Terry New; mother: Teresa New; grandmother: Wanda "Nana" Erwin; siblings: Katie New, Marshal New, Adrian New; and numerous cousins, extended family and friends.
Jeremy was preceded in death by; grandfather L.J. Erwin.
A memorial service for Jeremy will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052, followed by a reception.
