Johnny Wayne Waller

Johnny Wayne "Grand-Grand" Waller, 72, of Grand Prairie, TX passed away August 6, 2022 at Medical City hospital in Arlington, TX. He was born on February 18, 1950 in Corsicana, TX to Vernon Lee Waller and Dorothy Jean Ashford.

Grand-Grand was a hardworking man who always took care of his four girls and one great-grandson. He worked for ABF Freight Systems, Inc. as a local truck driver for over 35 years. He was a faithful and loving Christian man who loved God and his family more than anything else.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Dorothy Waller and his little brother Randy Waller.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years Charlene Waller, his daughter Becki Waller and her fiancée Dennis, his granddaughters Kayla and Samantha Nicholson, his great-grandson Kaysen Prater, as well as his sister Sue Waller, his brother-in-law Ray and his wife Theresa, sister-in-law Dianna and her husband Josh, sister-in-law Doris and her husband Ed, and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Johnny's memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday August 12, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, 950 Mayfield Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
