Joseph’s father was in the military and they moved around a lot while he was young. He had a very dry sense of humor but was a good sport when he was on the receiving end. In 1997 he started working for the City of Grand Prairie Police Department. In 2005 he moved to City Hall.
Joseph was a loner and a man of few words. Every now and again he would go to lunch with his co-worker Rich. The last few years he worked in the IT Department, and was wonderful at what he did. He was diagnosed with liver cancer but never complained. At the end, you could tell he appreciated all the visitors he received even though he was never able to say it out loud.
Before Joseph passed he left a wish list with his friend Rich and PollyAnn. He wanted Greg with Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens to take care of his memorial service. He wanted all of his co-workers to pay their final respects at his inurnment. Rich Van and PollyAnn Fadden want to make sure that his last wishes are met so that he may rest in peace.
Inurnment will be scheduled after cremation has taken place.
