Joshua Vincent Hendrex

Joshua Vincent Hendrex, 46, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on January 5, 2026. Born on June 15, 1979, Joshua was the beloved son of Kelli Hendrex Bishop and Gary Don Hendrex—his hero.

He is survived by his brother, Chase Blair; his cherished nieces, Chloe Blair and Emma-Lee Blair, whom he loved as his own; his sister, Blair Bishop; and his sister-in-law, Laura. Joshua’s greatest companion was his beloved dog, Haggard, who was more than a pet—he was family.

A talented architect, Joshua took immense pride in his work, specializing in designing and building commercial kitchens. His creativity and dedication left a lasting mark on every project he touched.

Joshua lived life to the fullest. He had a deep love for music and was always the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter wherever he went. More than that, he was a loyal and caring friend—someone who was always there when you needed him most.

Joshua’s vibrant spirit and generous heart will be remembered forever by those who knew and loved him.
