

Juan grew up in Alice, Texas and as a child overcame polio. He graduated from William Adams High School and moved to Michigan. He then moved to Indiana where he met Catherine through his cousin. They were married December 1, 1962.
In 1969 Juan moved his family back to Texas and they settled in Grand Prairie in 1970. He retired from Vought after more than 20 years. In retirement he worked a part time job driving golf carts at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and worked at a detention center for the Sheriff’s Office.
Juan was a man of routine. Every morning he would drop his grandchildren off at school and meet his friends at the “Coffee Shop” which was actually Whataburger. They would sit in the same spot and eat from 8:45am till 12:30pm. Juan enjoyed bingo, funny tee shirts and corny jokes. He was a member of UAW and Bowling Leagues.
Juan was a very social man who loved to talk to others. He was a hard worker and enjoyed mentoring the younger generations. His wife was the love of his life. He would visit her grave almost every day for the past 6 years.
Juan is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Adamez; parents Juan Adame and Eliza Trevino Adame and his sister Rosario Cadena.
He is survived by his chidren: Arlene Garza and her husband Andy, Annette Williams and her husband Leon, Cynthia Lefrere and her husband Hervey, Priscilla Genet; grandchildren: Janee Kushma and her husband Michael, Brianna Lefrere and wife Jessica, Jacob Torres, John Williams, Madison Jimenez, Zoe Jimenez, Alex Adame, Julianna Adame, Aidan Adame; brother Raul Adame and his wife Linda, 6 brother in laws, 2 sister in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
