Judy (Mallett) Melville, 77, passed away September 16, 2016. Funeral Service: 9:30 am, Friday, September, 23, 2016 at Crosspoint Church of Christ in Grand Prairie. Interment: 11:15 am, Friday at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 6 pm to 8 pm, Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie. She was born August 27, 1939 in Tulsa, OK and grew up in Checotah, OK. She graduated from OSU in 1961. Judy was a devout Christian and was very active in her church where she was a 5th Grade Sunday School Teacher for many years. She lived to serve others. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Mallett. Survivors: husband, Ken Melville; sons, Jevon Mallett and wife Michelle, Jason Mallett and wife Jessica, Ken Melville Jr. and wife Suzanne, Kurt Melville and wife Cathy, Gerald Melville and wife Rachel and Paul Melville; daughter, Pam Steele and husband Brad; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; twin brother, Jim Wiser and wife Jan; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
