Kenneth Harold Trapp, of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on Thursday November the 11th 2021 in Arlington, Texas. Kenneth will always be remembered as a loving Husband, Father and Friend to all that knew and loved him. He was born on April 23rd 1938 in Owens Crossroads Alabama, to Rufus and Mauvaline Trapp.
Kenneth loved to travel, he traveled the world during his Navy Career and visited as many baseball parks as he could. Baseball and playing cards were his two favorite things in the world. Either at the Ballpark or around a card table, with family friends or strangers he would always have a conversation or a story to tell. Kenneth was married for 54 years to Nancy Phelps raising six children during his Navy career that spanned 20 years.
Kenneth Trapp is survived by Daughter, Alice Rush of Pensacola FL. Son, Timothy Trapp of Grand Prairie TX. Son, Brian Trapp of Dallas TX. Son, David Trapp of Grand Prairie TX. Son, Michael Trapp of Grand Prairie TX. Daughter, Tina Trapp of Carrollton TX. Brother, Carlos Trapp of Chattanooga TN. Sister, Brenda Casey of Dunnelon FL. Eight Grandchildren, Five Great Grandchildren and Six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Wife, Nancy Trapp of Grand Prairie TX. Sister, Majorie Hughes of Peoria IL. Nephew, Benjamin Trapp of Chattanooga TN.
The visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. on November 26th Bean-Massey-Burge funeral home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10-11a.m. on November 27th 2021 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home. Interment will be held from 11:15AM on November 29th at Dallas Fort-Worth National Cemetery.
