Lance Edwin Rourick

Lance was a resident of Grand Prairie, Texas for 46 years. He joined the Navy at the age of 17 and served for 23 years. He started out as a Marshaller, then went to an Aviation Mechanic and finished as a Radar Engineer. He then retired from Robert Manna and Associates and also retired from Circle K Gas Station.

Lance is preceded in death by his father, Rex Rourick; and two brothers, Keith and Craig Rourick.

He is survived by his wife, Martha Rourick; mother, Keo Rourick; sister, Janet Rourick; sister-in-law, Cindy Rourick; three daughters, Cindy Bowen, Tencha Stone and Lisa Rourick; 10 grandchildren, Jenifer Shaw, Coty Shaw, Jessica McKinney, James Bowen, Azlaera Hoffner, Sequoyah Stone, Morgan Stone, Elizabeth Rourick, Clover Ernest and Rebecca Rourick; 4 great-grandchildren, Kaylee Shaw, Aiden Shaw, Greyson Shaw and Corra McKinney.

Lance was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will be greatly missed. Love you, Dad.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday April 26, 2022 at Resurrection Church, 415 New York Ave., Arlington, Texas 76010. Interment to follow in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211. Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday April 25, 2022 at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050.
