Maria G. Esparza

Maria Guadalupe Esparza, age 82, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023. Maria was born in Austin, Texas to Enrique Hernandez and Gregoria Guerrero on June 17, 1940. Maria worked in the aerospace industry for Vought Aircraft. She was a member of the Local 848 Union and had a passion for spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Esparza. She is survived by her 9 children; Suzanne Rodriguez, (Joseph), Albert Esparza (Lupe), Leticia Esparza, Adam Esparza (Belinda), Anthony Esparza (Peggy), Elissa Leiss (Joey), Abraham Esparza, Angelica Jackson (Jacob) and Alexi Esparza; 22 grandchildren; Selena (Rene), Herman, Ricky, Albert III (Heather), Gabriela, Ashley, Adam Jr, Andrea (Vicente), Ivan, Richard, Abraham, Avery, Channing, Tiana, Erika (Gabriel), Caleb, A.J., Eliana, Alyssa (Ryan), Ashton and Addy and her siblings, Leonard Hernandez, (Mary) Robert Hernandez (Minerva), Lucia Candelas (Joe); and 4 half sisters, Rosalinda, Sylvia, Debra and Yvonne and 2 half brothers, Arthur and Randy (deceased); 22 great-children, as well as, many nieces, nephews and other extended family members. A Visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, January 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will take place Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 610 NE 17th Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A Reception for family and friends will be held at the Grand Prairie Local #848 Union Hall, 2218 E. Main Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050 after the service at Immaculate Conception.
