Maria (Mary) Lara Tijerina went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 24, 2012. She was born on December 2, 1927 in Kaufman, TX to the parentage of the late Jose and Elenor Davila. She is survived by daughter Rose Cordova and son-in-law John Cordova, sons Marin Bitela and daughter-in-law Elena; Ben Bitela, Joe Lara and daughter-in-law Maria Elena; Frank Gonzales, Roberto Tijerina Jr., and many grandchildren and great grandchildren and many friends that truly loved her and will dearly miss her.
Viewing will be held Wednesday September 26, 2012 at 6pm at Bean-Massey-Burge on Dalworth with a Rosary at 7pm.
Services will be held Thursday September 27, 2012 at 1:30pm at Immaculate Conception Church at 400 Northeast 17th Street Grand Prairie, TX followed by a precession to Grand Prairie Memorial Garden for final disposition.
