Visitation will be held at the Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 South Beltline Road - Grand Prairie, Texas 75052 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm., Thursday, February 9, 2017.

The Funeral service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 2001 West Pioneer Parkway - Grand Prairie, Texas on Friday, February 10, 2017 at 1:30 pm.

The Committal service will be held at Moore Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 1219 North Davis Dr., Arlington, Texas 76012. There will be a Police Escort..

Marion was married to Patricia Ann Norman on November 19, 1954; and they shared 62 years of marriage:

• Marion is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Marks

• Daughter, Glenda Marie Aaron

• Son Steven Wayne Marks, and his wife Mary Jo Marks

• Grandchildren, Nicole Marie Palaile; Kayla Jo Holman; and Kourtney Elizabeth Sue Marks,

• Nephews, Alan Marks; Larry Marks; David Marks

• And other family and friends

Marion is preceded in death by his:

• Father, James Howard Marks

• Mother, Mae Cordelia Marks

• Sister, Doris Marie Best

• Brother, William Carl Marks

• Grandson, Richard Michael Palaile

Marion graduated from Cache High School and attended one semester of college before beginning his future career as an Aircraft / Missile Electrician for Ling Temco Vought (LTV), for 43 years.

Marion enjoyed repairing electronic devices, working on computers, and following the advances of space exploration.

He was also actively involved as a Deacon at Trinity Baptist Church until December 23, 2012.
