Maximo Ramos Jr.

Maximo Ramos Jr, “Tio” 67 of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Monday July 11, 2016 at 9:30 PM at Medical Center of Arlington.

A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday July 14th from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM at Del Angel Funeral Home at 733 Dalworth St. Grand Prairie, TX 75050. Memorial services will be held on Friday July 15, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

Maximo, or Tio Max, as many people knew him was born July 21, 1948 in Aibonito, Puerto Rico. On April 15, 1967 he married the love of his life, Elisa Colon. A man of honor, duty and responsibility, he proudly served his country in the US Army. A hard working man, he dedicated his time to great companies such as GAF, Owens Corning and his beloved daycare, The Children’s Learning Center. At The Children’s Learning Center is where he found his true calling and passion, to enrich the lives of others.

A loving husband, and father he is survived by his wife Elisa Ramos, his children Yolanda Ramos, Alex Maldonado, Glorianne Prieto, Javier Maldonado, his brother Eric Estrada, his sister Hilda Ramos, his sister in law Gloria Colon, and his grandchildren Zachary, Caleb, and Michael Ramos-Stoker, Alesandra Maldonado, Alayah Maldonado, Arianna Lowry, Alyssa, Kruz, and Ava Prieto, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father Maximo Ramos, his brother Antonio Ramos, his step father Esmerito Estrada, and his mother Ramona Rodriguez.
