Fred is also survived by several great nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in March of this year by the death of his mother, Erma Lou Langston.

He worked as a machinist and a mechanic. He had a great love of cars and Harley motorcycles. He passed on his love of cars and their repair to his nephews that shared the same interest. Fred could fix anything not just cars.

Billy, Ann and Linda could always depend on Fred if they needed his help. You could trust him with anything you had. He showed his love to his siblings in being there for them and always telling them he loved them.

He was known for a generous heart, never caring for much for himself, but always wanting to give to others. Though he fought health issues in his life, he always seemed to find a way to put a smile on everyone’s face. He was quick witted and could come up with a way to make you laugh in any situation. He loved little children and would always go out of his way to make them smile.

His laughter, smiles and kind, grateful heart will never be forgotten.
