N. Max Reed, 92, passed away peacefully at his home, Thursday, May 10, 2012. He is survived by Florence, his wife of 72 years; son Bob and wife Sandra; daughter Betsy Chutchian and husband Steve; granddaughter Rachel Gilbert and husband Craig; and grandson Matthew Chutchian. Avid outdoorsman, gardener, carpenter and sports fan. Mr. Reed retired from the Dallas Times Herald after 29 years. Mr. Reed served in the Army Air Corp during WWII. Visitation will be on Sunday May 13, 2012 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home 733 Dalworth St. Grand Prairie. Graveside services with Military Honors will be on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, Tx
