

Pascual was born in Sweetwater, TX on April 6, 1954 to Hipolito Castillo, Sr. and Gerarda Gongora Castillo.
After graduating from high school in 1973, Pascual enlisted in the United States Army in Dallas, TX.
He entered active duty on December 2, 1975. He was stationed in Fort Benning, Georgia for basic training, and served abroad in Germany. He was honorably discharged on November 26, 1979 in Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
Pascual was a dedicated man, and proudly worked for Lockheed Martin as a machine repair mechanic starting on March 27, 1995. He met many people working there through the years and made lifelong friends. He retired from Lockheed Martin in May 2018.
In his free time, Pascual loved the Dallas Cowboys, boxing, high school football, going to concerts, and church with his daughter Kendra, with whom he was baptized with on June 6, 2018, at Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Dallas, Tx.
Of all things, Pascual enjoyed drinking a cold one with friends and family, grilling, listening to oldies or Tejano music. He also loved watching episodes of The Andy Griffith Show, and Gomer Pyle, and The Rifleman.
Pascual is preceded in passing by his parents, Hipolito and Gerarda Castillo.
He is survived by his daughter, Kendra Lanette Elmore, and her mother, Lisa Herrera (daughter Alecia); son, Jason Shawn Ruggere, and mother Sherrie Garner; Siblings: Domingo, Hipolito, Eva, Ermelinda, Enriqueta, and many cousins whom he loved dearly, as well as, many other family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 1:20 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home located on 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050 in the Chapel. A committal service with military honors will follow Dallas Fort National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 at 3:00 PM.
