She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband William J. Martin Jr. and her older sister Susan Simmons. She is survived by her older brother, Bobby Wells & his wife, Jay, her children Stella Martin-Craig & her husband, Ken, Dennis Martin & his wife, Molly, and Debbie Owens & her husband Tom. Her great grandchildren are Tracy Whiddon & her husband, Arias Diaz, John Whiddon, James Whiddon, Christopher & Natalia Gutierrez, Dylan Martin, Rosie & Ray Carter, Robin Martin, Bradley & Ashlee Owens and Valerie & Andy Tincher. Her great-grandchildren are Kira & Zelda Diaz, Emily Whiddon, and Hanna, Grace & Hank Owens.
Rosalie pursued a career in hospice care after becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. She retired from that shortly after the death of her husband. She loved history, collecting deer statuary, especially bucks, the colors pink & silver and took to heart her name-sake flower, the rose.
