Ruth Olive (Gundlach) Petranek, born May 15, 1916, was called to eternal life on January 23, 2010. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 11:00am Tuesday, Jan. 26. Burial will be in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Visitation will be held 5-7pm Monday with a 6:00pm Rosary at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Chapel.She is an alumnae of the University of Wiconsin where she graduated in 1937. She is a retiree of the Greenfield Wisconsin School district, where she taught 4th grade for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Patrick Petranek and thier son Paul Edward Petranek.Ruth is survived by her daughter, Carmilla Scott (Ira); daugher-in-law, Lavelle Petranek; 6 grandchildren: David Petranek, Jonathan Petranek (Tonie), Michelle Vanek (Joe), Janet Maher (Phillip), Lynette Scott, Matthew Scott (Jerri), 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please send donations to Immaculate Conception School 400 N.E. 17th St. Grand Prairie, TX 75050
