William Andrew Desonie, 77, passed away on July 23, 2013 in Waxahachie, TX. He was born March 7, 1936 in Providence, Rhode Island. William loved family dinners and John Wayne movies. He was also a big World War II history buff and loved the history channel. William was preceded in death by his father, James J. Desonie; his mother, Mildred A. Desonie; and his brother, James J. Desonie Jr. He was in the U.S. Army for 23 years and civil service for 19 years. William is survived by: wife of 53 years – Marilyn A.( Forsberg) Desonie; 2 daughters – Lea Hunt and husband Nick of Waxahachie, TX, and Robin Moe of Peoria, Arizona; 5 grandchildren: Kaylea Dailey and husband Ryan of Waxahachie, TX, Samantha Moe of Portland, Oregon, Codi Hunt-Mansfield of Waxahachie, TX, Billy Moe of Peoria, Arizona, and Kyndall Hunt of Waxahachie, TX; 1 great grandchild – Molly Mansfield of Waxahachie, TX; Sister and brother-in-law – Jean and Jim Britton of Jamestown, Rhode Island. Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 4, 2013 from 3p.m to 5p.m. at the home of Lea Hunt, 315 Hacienda Dr., Waxahachie, TX 75165.
