Born in Georgia in 1931, Zelma was the oldest of 9 children. She met her husband Bob on the phone where she worked as a telephone operator.
Bob was in the military so he and Zelma traveled the world and ended up in El Paso, Texas with 6 children.
Zelma was a mischievous, funny, and an amazing woman with a sense of humor that made everyone laugh.
Zelma was truly loved by her children, grandchildren and great grand children and will be missed deeply.
Zelma is survived by; son Larry (Donna) Moore; daughter Jackie (Elaine) Moore; son Michael (Sandie) Moore; son Stephen Moore; and son Gary Moore; brother Leon Salter, brother Lamar Salter, brother Bobby Salter, sister Carolyn Salter-Bass, sister Geraldine Salter and sister Dorothy Salter-Carpenter; granddaughter Danielle (John) Guerra, grandson Jason Moore, grandson Josh Martinez, grandson Eric Moore, great granddaughter Celeste Moore, great grandson Mark Moore and great grandson Dominic Moore.
Zelma was preceded in death by; daughter Bobbie Moore; mother Beulah Byrd and father Virgil Salter; brother Rayford Salter and sister Billie Salter.
