Al was my cousin, I always enjoyed seeing him as he was a great guy! Moved to Ohio 41 years ago and have regretted not seeing most all of cousins since then. He and his family are in my prayers, God Bless.

We haven't seen each other in a long time until last summer, but it was like we never missed a day. You hugged and kissed me like you always did. You got to meet your great granddaughter Aleyna and I know, I can feel it, she loves you as much as I do, even in that first meeting. You're the best grandpa in the world. When I moved up north and you'd come and pick me up for summer vacation or holidays, it was the best feeling, I always looked forward to it. I'd cry when I'd have to leave and go back home because I didn't want to leave you. This past summer was the same. When it was time to leave I cried going home. I hate that that was the last time we saw each other before you passed on. I know though that we WILL see each other again and I will get my grandpa hug and kiss again.  I will make sure Aleyna knows who you are and how GREAT of a grandpa you are.

One of my favorite memories with you is going camping at Fish lake. You bought me a Scooby Doo fishing pole and taught me how to fish. You put the worms on for me because I didn’t like touching them. I had so much fun camping with you. You were always there whenever we needed you even if you were busy with something else. If we needed you you’d come right away. I’m going to miss the phone calls asking if we wanted to go for a drive. The Ionia Free Fair was one of annual family get together, it’s not going to be the same anymore without you there. I love you grandpa and I’m going to miss you so much. Thank you for being a father figure to me. You’re my HERO! 
Rest In Peace. I know I’ll see you again. 

To the love of my life. I’ll always remember our bike rides and our truck rides. I’ll never forget all the things we’re done. You’ll always be in my heart. I loved you so much. It wasn’t suppose to end this way. Remember I have the kids to help me. I remember Mariah saying grandpa let’s go outside let’s go for a bike ride. This isn’t good bye it’s I’ll see you again. Rest easy my love. I’ll be fine. I’ll remember the good times we have had. Going up north going to the bridge at the spur of the moment. Those are the good times. Hold our grandson close to you till I see you again.

I will miss you dearly and will always be grateful for having you in my life. I know now that when you took me hunting with you and taught me to shoot a bow and the proper way to handle a gun  you were trying to get close to me, keep me out of trouble, and introduce me to the outdoors. Something you loved a lot and wanted me to also.That’s one thing we had in common is the love of the outdoors. Thank you for showing me how too be a good father and grandfather and to be good to others. I will miss you dearly and cherish all the memories I have of us spending time together. You were taken from me to soon but I know your not alone in Heaven. You’re with your mom,dad, sisters, two of your brothers and your grandson. I have so many favorite memories with you. But my favorite memory is when you, Elijah, Brianna and me went to South Carolina to watch Nate graduate basic training. We had so much fun going around the army base. You told us stories about when you were in the army. I loved when you’d call and say “ hey Matilda what are you doing? Doing you want to go for a ride”. Most of the time we’d end up in Marion and then we’d go eat at a restaurant there. You loved hot beef sandwiches. Last Friday I took my last ride with you. We went to the Amish, and you told so many stories that I’ll never forget. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH DAD. Give Dominic a hug and kiss for me

Papa the memory I will have of you. Is gonna be from the time I was a baby. You and nana would watch me while grandma had an appointment. Then going up north camping with you. You taught me how to shoot a rifle. You also taught my sister Mariah. And you were there when uncle Craig taught my cousin Ari and Leo. I will always remember taking naps with you. I will always miss and love you. You are now my Angel papa

Every funeral we went to I’d sit next to you. You would pat my leg as I hugged your arm while you cried. I always had your tissues ready for you. I know you’re going to be sitting next to me at yours but I need to feel your big hard belly as you’d squeeze me and kiss my forehead. I never thought this day would come. Out of all the health issues you had including covid it had to end like this. You went out with a bang pops doing something you loved. I know the family gets mad at me when I say I shoulda been with you but it’s true I was your riding partner and no matter what anyone says I’ll always blame myself for not being there with you. I didn’t even hug you the day before I just said “I’m going out gramps I’ll see you later” not knowing that was the last I’d see you, I’ll always regret that. You’re probably yelling at me right now for crying, you always said “when I’m gone don’t cry because I’m okay with it” well I’m not okay with it and I’ll never be. I don’t know life without you and I don’t wanna start now. I’m never going to get the chance to tell you I’m pregnant, the man in my future not going to be able to ask for your permission in my hand, you’re never going to see me get married. We had plans for you to walk me down the aisle. I don’t wanna make new memories without you🤧💔 When I’d stay with you during the summers you used to grab all of your old socks that had holes in them and teach me how to sew. You’ve taught me so many things in life I’ll never forget. Tell my brother I love him🕊

Uncle Al, there are so many good memories with you, but the one that sticks out the most, and your kids and I still laugh about it. When we stayed with you 31 yrs ago, I was walking down the steps and fell down them, you were sleeping until I fell, you woke up out of a dead sleep, yelling What the blah blah was that? ( you can imagine the words he used) but I will forever remember that, how to this day we all laugh at it! You were a great man! You treated my kids just like your grandkids, you were nice to everyone! And I knew you could be mean, but I knew you had a soft side too! I love you and will miss, give my dad a hug for me! 

Well grandpa or should I say dad since you and grandma raised me my whole life  , never thought I would have to sit here and write how much I’m going to miss you & will probably never understand why they took you from me soo soon just doesn’t seem fair but you were the greatest man I knew and did anything I ever asked you to do with me my Bestfriend is gone and I don’t think I’ll ever get over that I appreciate everything you taught me, but i hope you rode that bike to the golden gates & revved that Harley up as loud as you could so they could open those gates, I LOVE YOU GRANDPA  will forever miss you 

My most FAVORITE memory with my grandpa is when I was younger we would take naps together. I loved when we would go camping an go tubing or just cruise in the speedboat you had we got so many memories grandpa!!!! You was my rock you was always there for me and my kids I’ll never forget what you told me you told me you would be there forever for me and the kids Mariah will cherish every moment she had with you washing your bike you guys coloring Easter eggs and decorating the house for Christmas. As for Yandel he loved going to your house to play an see you an play rough with you lol. I love you grandpa always and forever 

I remember when we were kids and we would go camping up north to the 40 and spend 2 weeks up there every summer. If you didn’t go up there we went up across the Mackinaw Bridge. And you were the most scariest man to many until the got to know you. But you were a big teddy bear

Uncle Al you will be forever missed by so many you were the best Uncle ever and the thing im gonna miss most is your hugs they were the best rest in peace til we meet again. Love always and forever, Tina


Uncle Alvin you were such an amazing person! 💖 You have left a huge hole in the Marble family already! I have so many precious memories of you throughout my life. I can only imagine the great reunion when you saw my Dad! 💖 You shared a special bond. Until we meet again in Heaven you will be forever in our hearts! 💕

I knew Al most of my life and was lucky enough to go on many long motorcycle trips with him.  I remember one such trip to Milwaukee.  We were traveling through Chicago in bumper to bumper traffic when the clutch on Al’s bike broke down.  Going through Chicago on a motorcycle in bumper to bumper traffic is hard enough but try doing it without a clutch....Al never stopped and made it all the way to Milwaukee.   How ??  I still haven’t figured that out ?

Uncle Al you were my “Hero” and my Favorite Uncle.  I will always remember you attending my little league games, and then coming to all of my boy’s  games.  If they had a bad game, you were always quick to give them a hug and buy them something from the concession stand.  You would tell them, “you did your best buddy.”
That would always make them smile.

Through the years you were always helping everyone that needed any assistance.  Family gatherings were special because you were there.

One of my favorite stories that you told was when you and Ray Grice  had a job shoveling manure and cleaning out a barn.  You would be laughing so hard by the time the story was complete.

Most of all I will cherish your love, hugs and support that was always present.
I will remember our last phone conversation on Friday, and the last words you said to me, “I love you Boy.”

You Accepted Christ As Your Personal Savior On January 2, 2009 At Aunt Maryland’s Funeral, So I have The Assurance That One Day I Will See You Again.

Thanks Dad for getting me into the outdoors and mainly into hunting.there’s tons of memories I have with you but for me it’s all about deer season.Ever fall that’s all I wanna do is be outdoors with you and have our annual trips up north to go catch that big buck.Some seasons we didn’t get anything and that was okay cause at least I got to spending some quality time with you in the woods and that’s all that mattered to me..Rest In Paradise Dad,Love you tons

What a fantastic man. Growing up you lived with us at different times. You more like a brother to me. I am thankful for all the memories I have of you, Aunt Pam and the kids. We are all richer and more blessed because we had you in our lives.
The tears flow heavy and I don't think they will stop anytime soon that's because I love you so much and like everyone I can't imagine life without you in it. Those whom were blessed to know you will cherish the memories, those whom never had the fortunate opportunity can perhaps meet you on the other side. I will see you again. Give my mom, my sister and everyone a hug for me. You will forever be loved, remembered and missed. You are in God's care now.

I so admired Uncle Al for his ability to make you feel loved and special each time he saw you. He was a great hugger.💛


Thank you for always being the first person to shake my hand at any family gathering!, you always made me feel like I was part of the family and I will never forget you for that.
