Anne G. Kemper

Anne G. Kemper, age 95, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 10, 2016. She was born in the summer of 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late James and Helen Gibbons. Also preceding her in death are siblings James, Mary, Raymond, Clarke and son-in-law Peter. Anne will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 73 years, 6 months and 5 days, John B. Kemper as well as by their children Anne Marie Blount and John Michael (Donna) Kemper, her brother Robert (Sue) Gibbons and several nieces and nephews. Anne also had a special friend, her cat Julie. Anne had a long career at the Dow Chemical Company and taught at several local colleges. She and John enjoyed their many trips throughout the world, visiting museums, cathedrals, and historical sites. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 1 pm on Friday, December 16, 2016 at the Basilica of St. Adalbert (654 Davis Avenue NW Grand Rapids, Michigan 49504) with Rev. Msgr. Louis Stasker as celebrant.
