

He is survived by two sisters, Lynda C. Urbaniak of Temperance, MI & Diane C. Dowell of Woodbridge, VA, aunt, Doris Cain of Cambridge, OH, five nephews, two nieces, eight grand nephews, four grand nieces. Preceded in death by brother, James "Jim" C. Cain, father, Samuel G. Cain, mother, Elizabeth "Betty" Cain, brother, Glenn F. Cain.
Mr. Cain was known for his quick wit & humor.
Mr. Cain was employed at various Apartment & Condo Properties in the Washington, D.C. area, as well as The D.A.R., C & P Phone Co., on Capitol Hill (Senate Side) as Administrative Assistant for the Electronic Engineering Division of the Architect of the Capitol (overseeing more than thirty agencies), and as a Personal Assistant, managing business affairs of a gentleman and watching over his small mansion in upper N.W., Washington, D.C.
Mr. Cain retired in 2019.
In Grand Rapids, Mi, Mr. Cain mentored many individuals and provided "Barry's Resource Outreach" Information throughout the Community.
Mr. Cain attended City Life Church & volunteered at The Cathedral of Saint Andrew, he spoke at several local churches regarding the needs of the Homeless.

Mr. Cain was very blessed with a Devoted Caregiver and Wonderful Friend, Michael "Nic" Lanning who visited on a daily basis.
