Bruce Alfred Miller

Bruce Alfred Miller, aged 55, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 24, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father Deskin George Miller II, and his infant brother Craig Richard Miller. Surviving are his mother Margaret, brother Deskin “Skip” Miller III (Carol), sister Laura Sue “Sis” Moshluk (Gary), brother Richard Miller (Dolores), half brother Harold "Bob" Kirkbride (Bonnie), 6 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, as well as his wonderful extended family and friends. Bruce worked in many capacities for Family Fare on Northland Drive. He truly enjoyed his work, his fellow employees and the many customers throughout the years. Bruce enjoyed the outdoors and camping at the Grand Rogue Campground. He was a fisherman, all around nature lover, an avid reader and he enjoyed writing. As a sports fan, he rooted on his Tigers, Redwings, and both the Wolverines and Spartans with many friends at Cheers. A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 with Dave Koss officiating at Reyers North Valley Chapel. You may greet his family on Tuesday at the funeral home for visitation beginning at 6 p.m. and continuing after the service until 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to Faith Hospice, in memory of Bruce.
