Charlie Oppenneer, aged 25, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 13, 2014. He was born on October 6, 1988 in Pucheon, South Korea. His family celebrated an even more special “gotcha” day every March 22nd. Charlie is survived by his parents, Gerry and Pat Oppenneer, his sister Kristin (Sean) and their son Liam Houthoofd, Charlie’s children Oakley and Ocara Oppenneer and their mother Allecia, his grandmother Dorothy Oppenneer, and his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Charlie will be remembered for his love of soccer, and his passion for music and cars. Please join his family for visitation at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 4-7 pm where a Rosary will be prayed at 6:30pm. Additional visitation will begin at 10am on Monday July 21, 2014 at Assumption BVM Catholic Church (6369 Belmont Ave NE, Belmont, Michigan 49306) followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am with Rev.
