Dawn Lynn Wiltzer

Dawn Wiltzer (Rector), age 57, went home to Heaven after a long battle with cancer on April 21, 2026. She passed peacefully at her home in Grand Rapids, Michigan, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband, Ryan Wiltzer; her two children, Gabriel Wiltzer and Grace Wiltzer; and her large, loving community of family and friends.

Dawn was born on February 6, 1969, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She earned several certifications from the Health Enrichment Center School of Therapeutic Massage and Wellness and began her massage therapy practice in the early 2000s. Dawn also developed an interest in photography at a young age and later started her own photography business. She was always very creative and maintained her passion for photography, flowers, and art throughout her life.

She married Ryan Wiltzer on September 20, 1997. Dawn was an active member of Resurrection Life Church for many years and was deeply rooted in her faith.

Dawn’s Celebration of Life service will be held at Resurrection Life Church on Saturday, May 2, in the Res Center at 5100 Ivanrest Ave SW Grandville, MI 49418. Please enter through doors E or H. A time of fellowship will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will follow in the Ground Floor at Resurrection Life.

Dawn wanted her celebration to be bright and happy; please come dressed in spring colors.
