Doris Jean Bailey

Doris J. (Wyma) Bailey, aged 88, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Donald, her parents Ray and Cornelia and brother Edwin Wyma. Surviving are her children Larry (Donna) of Augusta, GA, James Bailey (Martin Lihan) of Grand Rapids, David (Kathye) of Greenville, Douglas (Gail) of Grand Rapids, William of Belding, Susan (Lynn) Calhoun of Grand Rapids; her grandchildren Christopher (Michelle) Bailey, Cameron (Melissa) Bailey, Carter Bailey, Carrie (Benjamin) Shoemaker, Callie Bailey, Trisha (Mike) Bailey, Matthew Bailey, Gregory (Stephanie) Calhoun, Steven (Jill) Calhoun and Lauren Calhoun. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Heather, Chloe, and Caden and great-great grandchildren Noah, Mason, and Tyler. Doris will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Covenant Village of the Great Lakes for the care they provided Doris. Please join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at Reyers North Valley Chapel from 5-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at 11am with an additional visitation at 10am.
