Florian Denis Napieralski

Rev. Florian “Flo” Denis Napieralski, age 64, of Grand Rapids, died peacefully in the comfort of his home and in the company of his family on Thursday, October 12, 2017. He was born in the summer of 1953, in Grand Rapids, MI to Florian A. and Pauline Napieralski. Along with his parents, Flo was preceded in death by his grandson Rian. Flo was one of 15 children, 6 who preceded him in death. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 40 years, Renee [Couturier] and their children Phillip, Jennie (Matt) Yuhas, Lucas and Emily and grandchildren Evan, Jocelyn, Michael, Greyson and Liam as well as his special canine buddies Rudy and Chewy. For last 5 years he had been the lead Pastor of New Horizons Ministry Center in Grand Rapids, prior to that he was the associate pastor for 3 years. Along with the role of lead Pastor, Flo was owner/ operator of Nap's Sanitation for 30 years. Flo enjoyed fishing with his family and friends, was an avid guitarist and will be remembered as one who loved helping those in need and as a caring and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at New Horizons Ministry Center, (2660 Breton Rd. SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546). (Viewing 1 hour prior to service.) Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Flo will be laid to rest in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
