Freda A. Wiederhold

Freda Arline Wiederhold, age 88 of Grand Rapids, peacefully entered heaven, Monday, August 19, 2013, while surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 66 years Henry Wiederhold; son Kenneth; daughter and son-in-law Linda and Robert Mattson; granddaughter Kim Lynema and son-in-law Don Morley. She will be sadly missed by her children Arthur Wiederhold, Shearon Morley, Diana Duley, and Joy (John) Montgomery; sister Barb (Merle) Steffes, and sister-in-law Lucy Laymen. Freda was born in Cold Water, MI on July 23, 1925 and spent most of her childhood in Grand Rapids, MI. During her life, Freda worked as a custom seamstress. In her spare time she enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Spectrum Hospital Critical Care for their love and care. The funeral service to celebrate Freda’s life will be held at 12PM on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church (582 Lamoreaux Dr. NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321) with Pastor Julie Schneider-Thomas officiating. Friends may greet the family from 11AM-12PM at Zion Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 24, 2013. For those who wish, memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
