Gary L. Orcutt

Gary Lynn Orcutt, aged 53 died, with his family by his side, Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Gary was born in Grand Rapids in the summer of 1962 to Jack and Dolores Orcutt. He was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda and Mother Dolores. Surviving are his beloved wife of 25 years Renee (Sheldon) and his children, Samantha (Robert) Parsons, Zachary, Shelbie and Joshua as well as grandchildren, Braden, Saylee, Cora, Ryder, Daniel and Ayden. Also surviving are his father Jack and siblings Linda, Christine and David as well as many dear and special nieces, nephews, in-laws, aunts and uncles. Gary enjoyed his work as a semi-truck driver and was a dedicated employee of Yellow Rose Transport. He also was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gary loved his family above all and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, December 21, 2015 at Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church (3215 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525). Visitation has been scheduled to take place Sunday December 20, 2015 from 3-7 PM at the Reyers North Valley Chapel with an additional hour of visitation prior to the funeral at church.
