Gregory P. Cleveland

Greg Cleveland, age 60, passed away suddenly Monday October 26, 2015 while in the company of his family. He was born in Dickinson, North Dakota in the spring of 1955, to the late Charles and Joan Cleveland. Also preceding him in death are his brother and nephew Charles and Dylan Cleveland. Greg is survived by Sue, his beloved wife of 40 years, their daughter Sara (David) VandeBunte and grandchildren Alaina and Jonathan, son Brian (Tara) Cleveland, grandson Miles as well as son and daughter in-love Joe and Judy Pellerito and grandson Danny. Greg is also survived by his siblings Holli (Dave) Richter, Chris (Hugo) Cleveland, Tim Cleveland, and John Cleveland all of North Dakota. Greg proudly served his country with the United States Air Force for 20 years and was a devoted employee of G.E. Aviation, formally Smith Industries.

Greg enjoyed his involvement at Northlawn United Methodist Church. He was also an avid volleyball player, playing weekly at the Kentwood Recreation Center. He will be fondly remembered for his endearing love for his grandchildren. Memorial services have been scheduled for 11 am Monday, November 2, 2015 at Northlawn United Methodist Church (1157 Northlawn St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505) with Pastor Tim Wright officiating. Visitation will also take place at the church Monday beginning at 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service.
