

On April 9, 2014, Harry Ray Fuller, aged 89, passed away peacefully at home in the company of his devoted wife of 68 years, Jeanne and faithful dog, Dakota. Surviving are daughter, Sharon Koets of Grand Rapids, MI, son, Ron (Sue) Fuller of Colorado; grandchildren, Krysti (Mike) Kidder of Big Rapids, MI, Stacey (Brad) Orsted of Montana, Ty (Jenn) Fuller and Todd Fuller of Colorado, and eleven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his sister Francis Fuller, sisters-in-law Nancy Fuller and Joan Fuller along with many nieces and nephews. Harry and Jeanne were high school sweethearts when he was drafted mid-way through his senior year from Creston High School. Harry proudly served his country with the United States Army Air Corps during WWII. He and his three brothers followed in their father’s footsteps, serving during war time. He enjoyed golfing and was very proud of winning a hole-in-one tournament. He was a past president of the Brower Lake Association. Harry worked and retired after 29 years of service as a compositor for the Grand Rapids Press. He was a Life Member of VFW 3023, and active with both the Casino Club and American Legion. Harry enjoyed watching Tiger’s baseball and being with his family at Big Brower Lake, especially at the annual 4th of July celebration. Please join the family for a memorial visitation on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 4-7pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel where military honors will be rendered under the auspices of the Kent County Veterans Honor Guard at 5pm.
