In 1943, Helen was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Morris “Morrie” Leavitt who preceded her in death in 1993.
Helen was a homemaker, a bank teller and Florida “snowbird” for over 30 years, but most importantly she was a dedicated mom, grandma and great-grandma.
She is survived by her daughters Linda (Ron) Linkfield and Julie (Ed) Kurylo, her grandchildren: Mike (Melissa) Linkfield, Jeff Linkfield, Brenda (Craig) Thom, Lisa (Tom) Mulvihill, Joel (Katie) Kurylo, Kim (Chad) Ferguson; 19 great-grandchildren; her brother Rod (Barb) Hunsberger and many other relatives.
Besides her husband of 50 years, Helen was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gordon “Gordie” (Bobbie) Hunsberger.
Visitation for Helen will be Wednesday January 20, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Thursday January 21, 20201 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Please be patient as we practice social distancing guidelines allowing only 25 people to visit at once.
