Judith Lynn Schalk aged 56 passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Juella Steenstra. Judy will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 33 years Norman Schalk, children; Eric (Julie) Schalk, Caren (John) Bills, Scott (Melissa) Schalk, grandchildren; Abbie, Joshua, Katelyn Schalk and a fourth on the way with Scott and Melissa, brothers and sisters; Herm (Ethel) Steenstra, Hazel Dunn, Marilyn (Bob) Ebels, Petie (John) Vonk, Roger (Jan) Steenstra, David (Linda) Steenstra, and many nieces, nephews and friends. Judy enjoyed camping with her family, cross stitch, word searches and Christmas. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Fourth Reformed Church 1226 Union Ave NE with Rev. Tim Meendering officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday from 6-9 PM at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE.
