Larry Louis Buroccki, age 72, passed peacefully at his home on Sunday, July 19th.Born September 25, 1947, he graduated from Union High School and then served In the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at General Motors for almost 40 years as a Quality Control Inspector. He and his wife Lynne were married for almost 35 years.Together they blended their families. He is survived by his wife, Lynne, their children: Bonnie (Greg) Cypher. Dana (Gary) Curtiss, and Kyle (Kristen) Thome. Grandchildren: Katelyn and Lauren Cypher and Jamisen and Jonathan Thome. Siblings: Linda (Jerry) Zahm and David (Sheri) Buroccki. Larry is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Irene and brother Bill."Poppy" loved his grandchildren and their little cousins. He enjoyed their school awards assemblies, sports events, and especially Grandparents Day. Larry loved hosting friends and entertaining at his home. A private service for Larry will be at the National Cemetery at Fort Custer with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
